Jota signed a long-term contract extension to stay with the club.

The new deal for the 25-year-old, who has scored 34 goals in 85 appearances since joining from Wolves in the summer of 2020, is understood to be for the next ten years.

Jota is the second player to sign a new deal with the club this summer after Sadio Mane left.

Jota got injured in the last game of the season and had an upset. I felt it again when I came back in the pre- season. It will be a few more weeks.
