The Pixel 6A may have only been released last Thursday, but that doesn't mean that the latest version of the operating system won't be available soon. The latest version of the operating system, version 4.1, is now available for the phone. The first version of the software was released last Monday.

The update for the mobile operating system is expected to be a small one. Some of the design changes seen in last year's update with expanded support for theming app icons, as well as new privacy features, are included in this update.

Previously available up to Pixel 6 devices

You shouldn't have to wait long for the official release of the software if you don't want to use it. The update could arrive in September according to the latest details. In October of last year, theANDROID 12 andANDROID 11 were released.

If you want to try out the new operating system early, you can go to the developer site for instructions on how to install it.
