Amid renewed US-China tensions over a possible visit by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to Taiwan, China has released an edited version of its navy, air force, and army.

The Eastern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army posted a video on Monday showing Chinese ground forces, fighter jets, rocket cannons, submarine, and battleships in action against an enemy.

China has a military presence in and near the Taiwan Strait, which separates mainland China from Taiwan.

"Ready in formation, listening for battle orders" is the phrase that starts the clips. Chinese soldiers can be heard chanting that they will serve the Chinese Communist Party and not be afraid of sacrifice.

There are clips of fighter jet pilots discussing attack strategies and Chinese soldiers retrieving rifles in the video. "Bury all incoming enemies and advance toward united victory" is the slogan of the two-and-a-half-minute clip.

The post coincides with the 95th anniversary of China's People's Liberation Army but also comes as Beijing warns Washington that it may respond with military force if Pelosi goes to Taiwan.

The Chinese side has expressed its serious concerns and solemn position to the US side that Pelosi's visit to Taiwan will lead to serious consequences. "If you play with fire, you will get burned."

Pelosi's visit had not been confirmed by US officials.
