The official trailer video for the upcoming "Unpacked" event that will see the debut of the next-generation foldable phones was shared by the company.

The Unpacked event is going to be held on August 10. Reservations are being taken for the as-of-yet-unannounced phones. "Get ready to unfold your world of greater experiences at Samsung Unpacked, and find out how the nextGalaxy is greater than phones now," reads the event's slogan.

According to rumors, the next iteration of the foldable phone will have a single hinge design instead of the double hinges of the previous generation. The hinge is going to be smaller for a thinner and lighter design.

The Z Fold 4 is expected to continue to feature a 7.6-inch interior display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and it could have an under-display fingerprint sensor at the right side of the device. The new cameras include a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 12-megapixel ultra- wide camera. Ross Young, a display analyst, believes that the Fold 4 could get a price cut.

According to Young, theGalaxy Z Flip 4 will have a larger 2-inch cover display than the 6.7-inch one. There are improvements that can be made to the Z Flip 4, as well as new color options. The new phones are expected to be powered by the latest chips fromQualcomm.

Since the introduction of the foldable device, the company has several years of experience with various designs.

There are rumors that Apple is working on prototypes for a foldable phone. Right now, work is said to be in the early stages, and Apple has considered several foldable screen sizes, including one that unfolds to a size similar to the 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max and others in the eight to nine-inch range.

There are a lot of rumors about Apple's foldable design, with some suggesting an invisible hinge and others suggesting a two-display design. There is a rumor of a foldable iPhone with a design similar to the Z flip. There is plenty of time for Apple's plans to change and evolve according to multiple sources.
