The new trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has a lot of characters in it. The Cyberpunk universe will be expanded in a new story in Night City.
I don't set my expectations high for Edgerunner's, but it is different. The studio behind Kill la Kill is called Studio Trigger. These are two of the most popular and well-known shows in the world.
In the trailer, you can see Studio Trigger's bold and vibrant art style shine through, and I hope it can provide a more creative spin on CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077. This is the same studio that thought up talking clothes.
The synopsis for Edgerunners describes it as a show that follows a street kid trying to survive in Night City who becomes an edgerunner and stays alive.
There is a behind- the-scenes look at the show from the minds of Studio Trigger. Masahiko Otsuka is the CEO and co- founder of Studio Trigger. David, a teen with low-socioeconomic standing, is attending a school meant for higher-class citizens, but not much else is revealed plot-wise.
If the series is as binge-worthy as it looks, the 10 episodes will be a bit disappointing. There is a growing library of animated series adapted from games, like Castlevania, The Cuphead Show, and the upcomingTekken: Bloodline.
