Premium subscribers are the only ones who can use the play and shuffle buttons. The company announced today that it will be replacing the combined play and shuffle button with individual buttons for the two functions. In the coming weeks, the change is expected to hit the two platforms.

The new change will allow you to choose the mode you prefer at the top of the list. Whether you love the joy of the unexpected with Shuffle mode, or prefer listening to tunes in order by simply pressing Play, you'll find it here.

The frustration of artists who want their albums to be heard in the original order has been drawn by the penchant for shuffling tracks. "We don't create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason" By default, the standard play button is displayed on the album pages. Individual buttons will be seen by customers of the premium version of the app. From the moment you start playing on the service, you can choose how you listen to your favorite songs or albums.

It seems odd that the service is differentiating between its free and paid offerings, but here we are. You won't be able to play or shuffle any tracks on the platform. It has been almost 18 months since the company announced its streaming tier. I will always bring it up.
