A few weeks after its market release, nothing's maiden phone is getting a new software update that includes better third-party compatibility, always-on display improvements, and a few changes to the user interface.
Nothing OS version has been bumped to 1.1.2. The Nothing phone received a security patch and bug fixes in July. The update included a gallery and control feature.
The improved charging performance of the phone is one of the highlights of the new update. Nothing has improved third-party support for its answer to the best cheap phones.
The always-on display will be turned off by default at night. You can still control it manually.

Even when the display is turned off, the Nothing phone has a feature to display the fingerprints on the screen. Whenever the device is moved, this happens. The speed of its fingerprints has improved as well.
The audio quality and unreliable face unlock are still unresolved.
The new update has a lot of fixes. It's unclear which regions are getting the update. The software update section of your phone's settings can be used to check for yourself.
