The league's personal conduct policy states that a quarterback can be suspended for six games for violating it.

The players' union made it clear that it will stand by Robinson's ruling and urged the NFL to do the same.

The appeal would have to be submitted in writing. In that case, the commissioner of the National Football League will issue a written decision that will constitute full, final and complete disposition of the dispute, according to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

25 women have filed civil lawsuits against him, accusing him of sexual assault and inappropriate conduct. Between March 2020 and March 2021, there were encounters that were cited in the lawsuits. One of the 25 lawsuits was dropped after a judge ruled in favor of the people who wanted to keep their names secret. In June, he settled 20 of the 24 lawsuits he was facing, and on Monday he agreed to settle three of the remaining four.

The Texans reached settlements with 30 women who made claims or were prepared to make claims against the organization for its alleged role regarding the allegations against them.

Robinson was in her home state of Delaware for a three-day hearing in June. The quarterback should not be suspended at all, even though the league and the union disagreed. During the hearing, the sides discussed a potential settlement, but could not agree to one.

In the days leading up to Robinson's decision, the league andWatson's side did engage in further settlement talks, but neither side felt they were close to an agreement. Sources say that most of the side indicated it was willing to give up six to eight games. Sources said the league was willing to offer a 12-game suspension and a large fine.

If his suspension is upheld, he will be able to practice. The second half of his suspension will allow him to return to the Cleveland team. During the first half of the suspension, he won't be able to be with the team.

The NFL is looking into whether he violated its personal conduct policy since last year after two grand juries in Texas decided not to indict him. Over the course of a few days earlier in the summer, the football team interviewed the man. Several of the women were spoken to by the investigators.

He has denied all wrongdoing and said he has no regrets. He answered every question that was asked of him by the league's investigators.

The Texans received three first-round draft picks as part of the trade with the Cleveland Indians. The richest deal in NFL history for any player was given by Cleveland toWatson.

At the start of training camp last week, Kevin Stefanski said that he would be the starting quarterback in case of a suspension. During the first week of camp, the majority of snaps were taken by the first-team offense, but with Robinson's ruling, the plan may be changed.
