The lucky ticket was sold at a gas station in Des Plaines.
The report says that businesses in Illinois get 1% of the lottery up to $500,000, 1% on all winning tickets, and 5% on Instant Ticket and Draw game sales.
The billion-dollar win was confirmed by an employee from the location.
