Depending on where you live and what you're preparing, your barbecue style can vary. Even if you live in the Carolinas, Memphis, Kansas City or Texas, these wines will hold up.

The chateau du Moulin-a-vent is located in Beaujolais. The wine has a cherry, strawberry, and blackRaspberry flavor. This is great with a bit of chill and spicy-rubbed chicken on the grill.

The chateau is called Chateau Sainte. The name of the wine is "Indian Wells" and it's in Columbia Valley. A modern style with black plum skin that is easy to play-on-both sides kind of partners with anything on your grill. Save for after dinner with its dessert-like flavor.

The Duca de Salaparuta is called "Lavico" in Italian. This wine is always a pleasure to find. A great partner to salmon. This wine has bright red fruits.

The Jetsam is located in South Africa. There is a fun and easy table wine with red fruit and some black pepper.

DOC 2020. There was a bouquet of roses, cherry and almond in the glass. A perfect burger or pizza on the grill is fresh and bright. The grapes were made from 50% Corvina, 20% Rondinella, 20% Corvinone, and 10% other.

Bodegas Bernabeleva Navaherreros Garnacha are located in Madrid. Fourteen percent. This Garnacha is not like a typical strawberry-inflected Garnacha, it is like a dry Lambrusco. Fresh and decisive fruit has elevated acid. A winner was served chilled.

Pizarras de Otero Mencia From a high-altitude region in northwest Spain, dark fruit is the star in this wine, bursting with berry and fruit flavors, medium-bodied with smooth, fine tannins and a hint of scurvy. Light on its feet.

The Texas High Plains is the location of Adega Vinho Cuvee Carinha. This is a smooth operator that goes down easy with plush plummy fruits. The fruit is fresh and not dense.

The Bodegas Bilbainas Vina Pomal Gran Riserva Cosecha is located in Rioja. The nose of iron earth and leather was intriguing. A rich and creamy fig flavor is highlighted by the smooth and silky tannins on thePalate.

Carignan Spice Cabinet Vineyards is located in Horse Heaven Hills. Carignan is made in a modern, international style with lots of black and dark-red juicy fruits, milk chocolate layers and almost a dessert like pleasure. There are a variety of cuts of red meat.

Herdade Do Esporao Colheita Tinto is located in Alentejo. A standard bearer in Portugal's organic/ sustainable movement. The black plum and chocolate notes in this food friendly blend of native grapes are highlighted by smooth tannins.

The pinot noir was made in the valley. A teenager with lots of growing up to do, this is an Oregon project from the venerable French producer Louis Jadot. Drink this with ribs or a steak on the grill. It will come into its own when it tames down.

There is a reserve of red wines from the Shenandoah Vineyards. This is a plummy and ripe wine made in a modern style with a hint of dark earth. There is an impressive amount of Cocoa. A winner of the governor's cup.

The Meritage took place in Virginia. This is a deep and richly fruited wine made from a Bordeaux blend of four grapes. There are chocolate laces in this picture. Thanks to 21 months in French oak, it's smooth. The style wants meat that is very charred. It would be nice if it was a little bit chilled on it. The winner of the governor's cup.

Texas Heritage Vineyard Alicante is located in Texas High Plains. This example shows how great Texas is with Portuguese varieties. Right out of the glass is a bouquet of smoky bacon, a mushroom and a berry on the nose. It's so sexy that I miss eating meat.

The Vina Bujanda is in Rioja. A bit of anise and coffee bean lead to the silky and smooth milk-chocolate goodness. levating by a hint of blood
