When we were younger, we used to watch it early in the morning before school, but Toei has slowly released more of it over the years. The English version of the originalDigimon Adventure season was broadcast last year and is currently being produced. Two films that were sequel to the original Adventure series were released by Toei, as well as a new one that will tie up the second season.
The next film in the Adventure series was calledDigimon Adventure 2 The Beginning atDigiFes. Like the first two films, The Beginning is intended to serve as a capper to the second season. The film is being developed by Yumeta Company and Toei.
After the events of Kizuna, the film revisits the second generation ofDigiDestined. Fans of that particular season of Kizuna will be able to see how things worked out for this particular group of heroes in this film. The character art shows a group of young people. Check out Daisuke/Davis, Ken, Yolei, Ayaka Asai, and others. A six-minute clip was also shown at the event, where theDigiDestined meet the film's new character.
wada claims to be the first in the world to become aDigiDestined, but he doesn't have a partner with him. The second season introduced a range of guest stars for the cast to spend time with, but one who claims to be predating Tai and the others is an interesting hook for this film. A new Digimon called Okkomon, who looks cute but is just a gateway to becoming something more monstrous, is also playing into the plot. It is possible that those two will end up being partners by the film's end.
It is nice to see that there is still media coming out for it despite the fact that it is not the heavy hitter that it used to be. As someone who grew up with this group of kids, it will be exciting to see how their stories come to an end. Time will allow Toei to give the same treatment to the Tamers and Frontier seasons.
