Rapper JayDaYoungan Ambushed By 5 Gunmen In Shooting Death, Father Says

According to his father, Jay Da Youngan was shot and killed by 5 people.

Jay DaYoungan and his dad were sitting in the front yard of their Louisiana home when a black truck pulled up and three people got out with guns.

Scott says he and his son tried to run inside the house, but 2 more people with guns approached from the side of the property.

JDY's father says he shot back to protect himself. Scott and Jay DaYoungan were both shot at least 8 times. Scott is still in the hospital

The story was broken by the gossip website. JDY died in the hospital despite losing a lot of blood.

JDY's father thinks his son's murder was the result of jealousy, because he made it out ofBogalusa.

Scott thinks his son didn't have a problem with anyone. He thinks JDY didn't know about the attackers.

The cops are looking at all possibilities for a reason, including gangs and/or retaliation, according to the police chief.

Cops think there was only one person who shot at them.
