You would think game announcements would slow down now that we're done with Not-E3 They appear to be just getting ready. The Division Resurgence, which takes the series' well-known tacticalRPG style and recreates New York City for the small screen, was revealed by the publisher. There were big updates for games that are already out.

We've put together a list of what you'll want to know if you didn't catch any noteworthy news in the last month.

I spoke with the executive producer of The Division Resurgence and he said that the tactical elements of the game make it better suited for mobile. Resurgence will support other great controllers with fully-customizable controls.

There is no word on when the game will launch, but we will continue to cover it, so be on the look out for more.

A new legend joins the fray in Apex Legends Mobile

The first season of the mobile game was fairly boring, but that seems to have changed with the second season. Pythas Block 0, a mobile-first Team Deathmatch map, has also been added. The Gun Game and Hack are new game modes in the second season.

What may be the most exciting addition to the game, however, is a new mobile exclusive legend described as a DJ from Komma who competes with a little companion robot named Rowdy. She will give her teammates a speed boost and replenish their shields. Her Ultimate, Rowdy's Rave, will allow her companion to block all sights and scans, which will make her effective against characters.

When I reviewed it, I had a lot of fun, but I fell off. This could help me get back into it.

Genshin Impact gets its first melee catalyst user

The game's first melee catalyst user, Shikanoin Heizou, was introduced in Update 2.8, which was a little special. Characters who use bows are similar to Catalyst users. Heizou gets up close and personal with his enemies, dealing significant Anemo damage to them.

Despite being a four-star character, Heizou has earned his spot on our Genshin Impact character tier list in the S-rank position.

I tested Heizou out in the trial run after pulling him on the banner. He doesn't fit in with my squad at the moment. My sub-DPS roles are filled by Ayaka and Venti, while Bennett is my support. I might find a spot for Heizou in a different party setup in the future.

Papers, Please brings dystopian satire to Android

It has been nearly a decade since Papers, Please was first released, but developer Lucas Pope revealed this month that it will be released on August 5th, 2022. After its release, the satirical puzzle game received a lot of praise for its portrayal of a fictional Soviet setting. Return of the Obra Dinn was created by Pope a few years later.

I've never played it, but I've heard good things about it. I might decide to pick it up at this point. I think it will be worth the 10 or so dollars I have to spend since it's a premium release and not free to play.

Backbone is releasing a PlayStation-branded mobile controller (for iPhone right now)

It seems like just a month ago I was writing about Backbone's plan to release a version of its Backbone One controller that was compatible with the mobile operating system. The company is introducing a new controller in partnership with Sony. The Backbone One: PlayStation Edition is only for the iPhone at the moment, but we expect it to come to Android later in the year.

The PS5 accessory is designed to look like other PS5 accessories. It's compatible with the PS5 pulse 3d wireless headset.

The Backbone app will feature a number of Sony integrations, including the ability to browse hundreds of games. There will be a row devoted to new releases and updates from Sony.

If a player finds a game they want to play, Backbone says it can be selected and then the game can be installed on a console remotely.

Warframe, a free-to-play action game from Digital Extremes, was revealed for mobile devices about a year ago. An annual event to celebrate the game, the developer stated that it was still in the works.

#Warframe continues its path towards Cross Play, Cross Save, and mobile development! We’ve spent the last year exploring Cross Play and performing internal testing, with community testing coming soon. Stay tuned! #TennoCon pic.twitter.com/DBtcYJ6gA3July 16, 2022

It looks like Warframe will be a port of the PC and console experience rather than a new game set in the Warframe universe specifically developed for mobile.

Pokémon Unite celebrates its first anniversary

To celebrate the one-year anniversary of the game, there is a lot of new content coming up. Glaceon, Buzzwole, and Tyranitar are expected to be added to the game over the next few weeks.

I haven't picked up the game in a while, and I'm pretty sure I'm rusty. While Glaceon and Buzzwole don't interest me as much as I would like, I do have a soft spot for a movie that looks like a dinosaur.

I'm not sure if this will be enough to get me to pick up the game again, but it's nice to see that it's still doing well.

New games to play

I'm happy to see that they're still doing well, even though I fell off from them. While I don't use Heizou on my team, I still get excited when HoYoverse adds new players. Papers, Please a shot will be given while I wait for The Division Resurgence.
