The wind is whipping by. Was it a warm day? Could it have been the asteroids that passed by the Earth this weekend? Imagine that it couldn't.

According to NASA, the two space objects will fly past our planet on July 29 and July 30.

The first asteroid to fly past our night sky was measured at 400 feet wide. It traveled at a high rate of speed.

On the evening of July 30th, the second asteroid, called 2013 CU83, will zoom past at 13,153 mph, but it will not be as fast as the first one. The distance between the Earth and the moon is much smaller than the distance between the asteroids.

Don't be afraid of the end of the Earth because these objects frequently pass around our planet. A mile-wide asteroid passed above the Earth earlier this year and was closely monitored by NASA. The next round of these asteroids is expected to take place in January.

NASA has an asteroid watch that tracks the path of near earth objects.
