The water began to fill the mobile home of Amber Smith and her husband, Riley Noble, early Thursday morning, and they had only minutes to get their children dressed and escape.
The bodies of all their children were found in the afternoon.

Smith's cousin told the New York Times that the couple got a flash flood alert at 2 a.m. on Thursday and within moments the family had climbed to the top of their trailer to wait out the flood.
As their home was about to be washed away, the parents held on tight to their children and managed to float to a nearby tree where they yelled for help, Smith told her.
The children were swept away by the current even though Smith and Noble held on to them.
The kids were taken out of their hands by the water.
After eight hours, strangers rescued the parents who were stuck at the tree.
The family had to wait for their other missing children after one of them was found dead. The bodies of all four people were found on Friday.
The family was very close.
