Drake has been on a roll with some of the biggest names in music recently, and he kicked off OVO Fest with a performance from Nelly Furtado. It is indeed. It's a big deal that Drizzy was able to book the singer for the first day of the event. Since at least 2017, NF hasn't hit a stage publicly, and hasn't really performed in a long time. She was hot in the 2000s, with a bunch of fan-favorite hits, some of which she sang side by side with Champagne Papi and the rest of the crowd. Drake told the audience that he wanted them to sing as loud as possible for the next artist he was going to bring up and that it was a bit of a mission to get her to come out like this. It's wild when he comes out. She sang "Promiscuous Girl" and "I'm Like a Bird" as part of her set. Drake said she had a choir on her hands that night, so she was feeling the love from the OVO-goers. It's a really cool moment. She stepped away due to issues with the spotlight. Drake got her out and it's amazing. People still love them even after all this time.
