You can play a game of pétanque with other people on the internet. Pétanque is a game that is similar to bocce ball, so if you haven't heard of it, you're in for a treat.

Pétanque's goal is to throw the boule as close as you can to a small ball in front of you. On the computer, you can click on the boule and drag your mouse back and forth to throw the ball; on the phone, you can use your thumb to throw the boule. Whoever has the most points after three rounds is the winner. When you first start playing the game, you'll be able to see a good version of it on the internet.

You can play one-on-one or in teams of two if you share a link. If you just want to practice, you can do that on your phone, but I would recommend testing it out first. I was more accurate on my computer than I was on my phone.

You can see the adorable olives that are featured in the game in a Gif, if you haven't already.

Look at those cute olives!

In order to celebrate Halloween and the Mexican card game Lotera, Google created a pair of Doodles in the last two years. The company has made a lot of other games in the past that are still fun to play.
