InterContinental hotels have begun to change their club lounges to prevent complimentary access.
InterContinental Hotels are trying to prevent free access in their club lounges.
Complimentary Upgrades to Club rooms, Club REGENT or Club InterContinental rooms / floors do not include Club Level amenities or services, e.g. Club Lounge access, free pressing, airport transportation, etc.
Upgrades to Club rooms don't include any club benefits. Cub rooms are almost always the same as standard rooms. There is no upgrade if you remove the Club benefits.
Diamond Elite Members’ Welcome Amenity choice also includes Free Breakfast at full-service and select-service brands (REGENT, InterContinental, Hualuxe, Hotel Indigo, voco, Crowne Plaza, Even, Holiday Inn, and Kimpton)

If you use one of the suite reward options, you won't get the usual benefits, like club access.

The benefits that were just launched were removed or limited quickly. I would like to see no more negative changes.
