Alex Mosseri said that you should be happy to see it. Right now, I don't think that's happening enough. We need to take a step back, in terms of the percentage of feed that is recommendations, get better at ranking and recommendations, and then we can begin to grow again.

According to the CEO of Meta, those types of recommended posts account for 15% of the content on Facebook and even more on the photo sharing site. He said the figures could go up to 30% by the end of the decade. Adam Mosseri wants to temporarily reduce the amount of recommended content people see for the time being because they aren't getting along with it.

Meta mentioned that the company is a point of focus. The company aims to turn all videos posted to the platform into Reels.

However, until these changes appear, users can take a sigh of relief as they continue to look for better ways to improve how it'll implement these new changes in the future.
