The first of Norwegian Cruise Line's new class of ships, the Norwegian Prima, was delivered on Friday.

A delivery celebration was followed by a flag exchange.

NCL will "usher in a thrilling new era in cruising" with the debut of the Prima, according to Harry Sommer. The ship will have a lot of open space.

On August 27th, the 3,100-passenger ship will embark on its maiden voyage. The ship will be christened with a performance by pop star KATY PERRY.
