Sarina Wiegman
England are unbeaten under Sarina Wiegman since she joined in September

If England win the European Championship on Sunday, Sarina said she might not realize how much it will affect her.

The Lionesses have lost at the Euros finals in 1984 and 2009, so they want to win their first major trophy against Germany.

As the women's game grows in England, success will make a difference.

She thinks we have been an inspiration to the country.

When the Netherlands won the Euros, it really made a difference and that would make me very proud. I do not think further than that.

You don't realize the impact until 15 years later.

England's last appearance in a Euros final was in 2009, when they were beaten by Germany.

Prior to February's Arnold Clark Cup victory, they had not beaten Germany on home soil, so could a long rivalry in the game now swing in England's favor.

Whoever is in front of us, we want to beat them. We want to win the final.

We want to show how good we are and how well we play. Hopefully that will lead to a victory. We don't discuss the history of their players.

England's performances so far have been impressive - they thrashed Norway , came from behind to beat Spain, and then beat Sweden in the semis.

After each victory, they have celebrated with the home crowd by dancing and singing.

The crowd was expected to be like this. People get really, really excited when we win and we get to the knockout stages.

That's fantastic." The team has played very well. People like the togetherness of the team.

It's going to be great if you play in a big stadium. The stadiums here are beautiful.

She could become the first manager to win back-to-back women's Euros with two different countries if the Netherlands wins again.

I didn't know it was possible to be a full-time coach.

I'm aware of where we came from and where we are now. I feel very fortunate that I've been a part of this journey from a young age.

'I needed to have a strong personality'

Sarina Wiegman in a team talk
Sarina Wiegman won Euro 2017 with the Netherlands in her home country

As a young girl, the Dutchwoman had to fight to play football because she was Dutch.

As a child, she stood up to people who said girls shouldn't play the game.

She said that she was loud at school. I was more of a shy person later on.

Football was not accepted for girls when I was younger. I've had people tell me that girls shouldn't be doing that. I didn't pay much attention.

Otherwise, I would have dropped out.

She is now known for her calm demeanor. She does yoga on a daily basis.

She said that she made sure to do all those things. We are well prepared and that makes me calm. Everything has been in our control.

It might bring us a win, but we know we have done everything in our power.

She said the main thing she has learned from her journey is who she is.

She said that it took time. Confidence is needed to make choices. Before a coach, I was a teacher.

There were a lot of things that came in my path and I had to learn more about myself. Your strengths and weaknesses are learned.

You get a lot of experience over time. You know you did the right thing even if the person in front of you doesn't like it.
