Ryan Clark sounds off on anonymous criticism of Patrick Mahomes (1:57)

Ryan Clark was not happy with the comments from the anonymous coach. There is a time and a place for this.

2:45 PM ET

The city of St. is located in the northeastern part of the United States Patrick said he heard the criticism of his own play and that of other Black quarterbacks after reading about the study clause in Kyler's contract.

He wouldn't say that black quarterbacks are evaluated differently than white ones. He said he found it interesting that only black quarterbacks are critiqued.

"Obviously, the black quarterback has had to battle to be in this position that we are to have this many guys in the league playing.'' We are proving that we should have been playing the entire time. Guys can think just as well as they can use their athletic skills. It's weird when you see guys like me, Lamar, and Kyler, but not others. We're going to prove ourselves every day to make sure we're one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

He said he still has a lot of work to do.

He said that he felt like he had more to prove. Tom Brady feels like he has more to prove. It comes with any sport. You are getting worse if you aren't getting better. You will be torn down by them. You need to be aware of that. It's all about how I can make myself better. How can I improve so that we can play football? You get to prove who you are every single day when you play football, at the end of the day.

According to a recent story in The Athletic, the game of Patrick Mahomes falls apart when he is forced to go beyond his initial read. Mahomes was ranked as the second best quarterback in the NFL by other coaches in the piece. Jackson was ranked as the 10th best signal caller in the league even though he was called less than a top level quarterback.

Murray signed a contract that required him to study game material on his own. That requirement was removed from his contract by the Cards.
