"I think Biden is a man of decency, of good principle, of compassion, of empathy and of strength, but I'm concerned about his age," saidPhillips on the WCCO program.
A New York Times/ Siena College poll earlier this month found that nearly two out of three Democrats don't want Biden to run for reelection.
Many Democrats in Congress are hoping for another candidate, despite the fact that the highest-ranking Democrat at the federal level supports Biden stepping down after one term.

In an interview with NewsNation, Sen. Joe Manchin said he wouldn't back Biden if he were the Democratic nominee. He said that they would just have to wait and see. Cori Bush wouldn't say if she would support Biden running again, but she did say that she wouldn't answer that question.
The top three Democrats in the House are all under the age of 30. Pelosi and Clyburn are both in their 80's.
A majority of Democrats don't want Biden to be their presidential candidate.
