Every year, player ratings for the Madden NFL video game are a source of controversy and debate, so the company is giving fans the chance to make a case for their favorite players to improve their ratings.

The Madden hotline received 1,000 calls in the first six hours it was open.

Anyone can call the hotline to discuss the ratings for a player.

It would be fun to know who called in. The Indianapolis Colts star didn't agree with the fact that he was the No. 5 linebacker.

When the ratings were announced, some players were happy.

The top-ranked player at his position is not upset that he received a 98 overall rating.

The Rams defensive tackle, the 49ers offensive tackle, the Cleveland Browns defensive end, and the Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver received 99 overall ratings in Madden.

Donald was the highest possible rating for the sixth year in a row and tied with Manning for the most in Madden history.

The rating could be adjusted if anyone called the hotline and presented a valid case for a player. It's unclear what your argument would consist of, but it's good preparation for anyone considering a career as a lawyer.

Madden NFL 23 will be released on August 19th.
