Mrwhosetheboss says he made an alarming discovery when he checked in on his large collection of phones.
Maini posted pictures of some of the phones that popped open under the heat.
The recent UK heatwave has caused three of Maini's phone batteries to blow up. "None of the other brands has."
One picture shows three different cell phones with the back cases busted open, and the other shows an expanded battery.
As many countries are breaking heat records this summer, the risk of swollen batteries exploding and catching fire should make anyone pause.

Maini's findings are not surprising since the Korean phone maker has a history of such problems.
The batteries of the Note 7 exploded and caught fire.
Issues with the phones' circuitry were the focus of the final postmortem. UBreakiFix employees can attest to the events being unfortunate but not uncommon.

The UK just went through a heat wave that killed over 1,000 people and set a record high temperature, which could lead to overheating batteries.
There's still a chance that it had nothing to do with the heat, if it was indeed the case. Only a small number of people in the UK own an air conditioning unit.
The company said in a statement to Futurism that they had reached out to Minai for more information about the damage to the devices.
There's less room for mistakes as the globe continues to heat up.
Given the company's past record, it's no wonder that SAMSUNG should be more careful than any other company.
