It is against federal law to use the presidential and vice-presidential seals in ways that could convey a false impression.

If you violate this law, you could be imprisoned for not more than six months, but these punishments are rarely handed out.

The seal has been displayed at Trump properties before. Forbes states that the logo appeared on a marker at his golf course. The Trump Organization ordered golf course markers that had an emblem on them.

A Washington D.C.-based watchdog group accused his Bedminster golf club of profiting from the use of the presidential seal.

The Department of Justice is looking into Donald Trump's conduct.

The event was closed to the public but open to the media.

The third event of the Saudi-funded LIV Golf series, which Trump has joined forces with in Bedminster in the face of criticism, will take place this week.

The former president was asked if he had any regrets about the golf club hosting a LIV Golf event rather than a tournament hosted by the U.S. Golf Association.

He told the reporter that he was going to announce his candidacy for the presidency. We're going to let you know soon.
