In Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman v Superman: Justice League, and Suicide Squad, he played the caped Crusader, and he announced his retirement from the role in 2019. After it was announced that he would reprise his role as Batman in The Flash, we now know that he will also reprise his role in the sequel.

Robert Pattinson reprises his role as Batman in a sequel to The Batman, which was released last month. Before he stepped away from the project, he had originally planned to direct, co-write, and star in a Batman film of his own.
