Vince McMahon's retirement could lead to the return of two superstars.

Since May 16, when they walked out of Monday Night Raw, they have not been seen. The company is now open to the possibility of the popular duo making a comeback, according to Dave Meltzer.

It's not sure what to make of it. They are gone. There will be attempts to reconcile, especially with Vince gone, according to Meltzer. It is up in the air. I don't think there is a definite answer.

Banks and Naomi walked away from the show. The two of them claimed they weren't respected enough as tag teamchampions. Earlier this month it was reported that both of them were removed from the internal active roster but neither was officially released.

The announcement of McMahon's retirement shocked a lot of people. The Wall Street Journal reported that the 76-year-old was being investigated for spending millions of dollars to keep his improper sexual relationships with former employees quiet.

McMahon's daughter was named co- CEO with Khan. Paul "Triple H" Levesque was named the company's head of creative and head of talent relations earlier this week.

Levesque had a good relationship with wrestlers during his time as the lead executive of the company. The black-and-gold era of the company was popular with fans for its intriguing storylines and good matches.

It is not clear whether Banks and Naomi will return, but having Levesque at the helm will ease the tension. Both superstars have opportunities outside of wrestling that they may look to pursue, particularly Banks, who is already a celebrity.
