Barkley says he has not received an offer from LIV Golf (2:30)

While he waits for the new series to make him an offer to join its broadcasting crew, Charles said he's going to support both the PGA Tour and LIV Golf. There is a time limit.

Charles Barkley, who has enjoyed tremendous popularity in his post-playing days through his work as an analyst for TNT and a corporate pitchman, has yet to receive a formal offer to join LIV Golf in a broadcasting role.

I cannot keep it in limbo. Before his appearance in a pro-am event at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster, which is the site of the third LIV Tour event, Charles said that it was unfair.

My sponsors are worried as well. I've heard from many companies. I will have to make a decision at some point.

It would appear that there is no decision to be made at the moment. He said Thursday that no offer has yet been made for him to work for LIV Golf as part of its broadcasting crew.

I have not been offered a contract. They asked if I was interested and I said yes. I told Greg that I did. I'm in a good position. It's great if they give me something good. If they don't, I have a good job.

Donald Trump was playing in the pro-am at his golf course.

The family members of 9/11 victims held a news conference earlier this week and plan to do so again on Friday.

In the wake of 9/11 Justice sending a letter to former President Trump expressing the extreme pain, frustration and anger they feel as a result of his decision to host the Saudi-sponsored league at his club in New Jersey in the shadows of Ground Zero, this event is taking place.

"I sympathize with the families of the 9/11 victims," said the basketball player. It is the worst day in the history of our country.

According to Trump, nobody has gotten to the bottom of 9/11.

The 9/11 Justice group said recently declassified FBI documents proved Saudi Arabia's involvement in the attacks.

Trump has known the Saudi Arabian financial backers for a long time. I've known them for a long time. Many American companies have been invested in by them. What they're doing for golf is great and they own a lot of American companies. The players are being helped by what they're doing. The salaries are going to increase a lot.

"I don't understand why people are angry at the golfers and why more outrage hasn't been directed towards those companies that receive financial backing from the Public Investment Fund Saudi Arabia."

Everybody is making up words. "If you play sports, we all take money from some sources you might not like or appreciate." I don't want to be hypocritical. The men are trying to make a living. I wish them good luck. It's the same with my friends on the tour. Everyone is playing the moral card.

"For some reason, everyone wants to make a big deal out of it," he stated. I will not allow that to happen on my watch.

There will be 48 golf players competing for an unprecedented $405 million in purses in LIV Golf's expansion to 14 events. The LIV Golf International Series was launched this year through a $300 million investment in the Asian Tour.

For a long time, the players didn't like the PGA, according to Trump. They now have an alternative to use. Nobody would have ever guessed that there would be a gold rush.
