The general public will be able to participate in the testing of the secondiOS 16 and iPadOS 16betas. The first public alpha came two weeks after the fourth developer alpha.

Passwords are being replaced with Passkeys and shared tab groups are being supported. You can schedule emails, cancel sending, and get follow-up reminders in the Mail app.
Apple Pay Later will allow users to pay for Apple Pay purchases in fee-free installments, and the iCloud shared photo library offers a convenient way to share photos with family members. The Weather app and Stage Manager are only available for the iPad with Apple Silicon chips.
There are a lot of new features in both iPadOS 16 and Apple's mobile operating system.
