There weren't a lot of trailers that came out of San Diego Comic-Con, but the ones that did make an impact were the Black Panther trailer. A new spot for She-Hulk is out next month, and there is a chance that Daredevil will make an appearance in it.
There has been a lot of focus on Daredevil being saved from his now-dead series on the streaming service. We watched Charlie Cox in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Kingpin was the baddest of the Hawkeyes. There will be 18 episodes of the full Daredevil series in the spring of 2024.
She-Hulk has been able to get Daredevil for more than just a brief appearance. It was surprising because of all the rules about what characters can be used in certain places. Jessica Gao spoke to Collider about that.
You have to figure out what the borders are before you can make a decision, because everything in the MCU is so interwoven. Sometimes we come up with an idea or a character that we want to use, but we have to stop and ask if it was already used or another plan. You had to start over half the time.
We know that Jessica is going to be a major plotline in the series, but further exploration of this seems to suggest that Matt is going to have a bigger role in the series. They let her use him a lot.
We didn't know what the status of the character was, so we didn't think we'd be able to use them. I don't know how we got wind that he was coming back, but we were wondering if we could use him. Is it okay for us to? We thought we were being pranked when they said yes. We kept writing him in, and we kept rolling with the story because we knew we couldn't use them. They made a wrong decision. They don't have the right to do things. It became more and more real as time went on. It was difficult to keep that secret.
I am curious to see how this plays out because of the overlap between the two characters. She-Hulk is a fourth wall-breaking Fleabag-like comedy and Daredevil is as dark and broody and violent as we've seen within the MCU. I think everyone agrees that the more we see the character, the better.
