According to multiple reports, more than 75,000 Russians have been killed or injured as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukrainian.

Around half of the total number of troops sent to Ukraine by Russia would be represented by the figure. It is higher than what US officials have said in the past.

The 75,000 figure was given to the House by US officials, according to Rep. Slotkin.

The New York Times reported that the figure was given in a joint briefing by the State Department, Department of Defense, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.

Russia has not given an official figure for troop losses for months.

According to William Burns, the director of the CIA, around 15,000 Russians had been killed and over 50,000 wounded.

US officials told The Times that around 20,000 Russians had been killed, and around 60,000 had been injured so that they wouldn't fight.

It's not clear how many Russian troops went toUkraine.

The Times reported in April that Russia had initially sent 150,000 soldiers into Ukraine.
