According to The Athletic's Law Murray, Paul George will play in the pro-am showcase in South Central Los Angeles this weekend.

The Clippers star did not play in the Drew League in the last three years.

George tried to play in a Drew League game for MHP in August of last year but was denied because he didn't play in the regular season.

The Drew League does not allow players to play in the playoffs if they did not play in the regular season.

George will be able to get in on some competitive action after only appearing in 31 games for the Clippers during the 21st century due to a UCL injury.

He missed about three months from December to March. He shot 42.1 percent from the floor and 35.4 percent from deep last season.

The Drew League has a number of high-profile players this summer.

The MMV Cheaters defeated Black Pearl Elite 104-102 on July 16 thanks to a 42 point performance by Los Angeles Laker star James.

Atlanta Hawks players Trae Young and John Collins combined for 38 points in a 103-100 loss to the Citi Team Blazers.

Irving was supposed to play in the Drew League on July 16 but he didn't show up.

The Drew League became popular during the NBA Lockout as stars like James and Kobe Bryant suited up in the pro-am showcase to stay in shape. It seems to be popular with NBA players again.

The NBA and Drew League recently came to a deal to stream some games from July 23 to August 21. We should be able to watch George play this weekend.
