  • Two grieving Sandy Hook parents are part of a scheme to make bank, according to a producer of the right-wing radio show.

  • On the second day of testimony in Alex Jones' trial, the courtroom attacked.

  • The parents' attorney was told that they were using their grief to make money.

A producer for InfoWars told a Texas jury on Wednesday that Sandy Hook parents were not victims of Alex Jones, but part of a legal scheme to make bank for him.

On the second day of the trial, there was testimony.

The parents of Jesse Lewis, one of 20 young children killed in the 2012 school massacre in Connecticut, are being represented by a lawyer.

Do you think these two people are real parents? Bankston gestured to Heslin and Lewis in theTexas courtroom. Bankson was using language from previous broadcasts.

I don't think that's true. I think that their grief is being used.

She tried to change reality on its head. She said that the mother and father were being lied to by their own lawyer, not by Jones.

The massacre was staged by "crisis actors" as part of a government plot to take away people's guns, according to Heslin and Lewis.

The parents' lawyer was told not to refer to Jones as their enemy.

She said that the parents were being lied to. You are using their grief to make money.

The truth will be on our side when this jury sees it.

For years, Jones has told his audience that the massacre that left 26 dead, including 20 first- graders, was a hoax.

In Texas and Connecticut, he was found liable for defamation for his comments about the Sandy Hook shooting.

The amount of money Jones has to pay Heslin and Lewis will be determined by the jury.

The testimony gave a chilling glimpse into the down-is-up, and up-is-down, alternate reality of the Infowars newsroom.

Jones told his audience that there were photos of kids that were still alive and that it was a hoax.

She claimed that he was doing honest investigative research to the best of his abilities. He is very serious about it.

The jury in the civil case will see that Alex meant what he said.
