After Fox News called Arizona for President Joe Biden on election night 2020, News Corp owner Murdoch apologized to former White House senior adviserJared Kushner.

According to a page on The New York Times' website, the memoir of President Donald Trump's son-in-law is going to recount the call.

The first major outlet to project that Biden would win the battleground state of Arizona was Fox News, making him the first Democrat in 16 years to do so.

The campaign's leaders were scrambling to understand the network's methodology after the shocking projection.

Murdoch, the powerful media tycoon and owner of Fox News' parent company, was the one who asked why the decision desk had called Arizona so early. Murdoch initially said he needed to look into it.

Murdoch said there was nothing he could do. According to the Fox News data authority, the numbers will not be close.

The representative for Fox News didn't reply immediately.

The editor who made the Arizona call for Fox News was fired after testifying before the House Committee.

As more results came in, other top Trump campaign officials and advisors testified to the sad state of the campaign.
