Lucy Bronze: England right-back reveals she plays with knee pain

Lucy Bronze is playing through the pain of a knee injury as she prepares for England's Euro 2022.

She scored a goal in England's victory over Sweden.

She said it was difficult to come back from a knee injury which lingered for a long time.

There are a lot of players who are having to play through pain in their career.

Bronze was named the best women's player in the world in 2020 and the best women's football player in the world in the last two years. She won the European Championship three times in a row.

She said that she doesn't feel like she did a few years ago.

The Lucy Bronze was the best player in the world.

Beth was set up for the opener by Bronze. In the group stage, she assisted an Alessia Russo goal.

She said she's happy to be a part of the team, playing good football, getting an assist for Beth, and getting her up there to get the Golden Boot.

The goals and assists are not a big part of my game. I'd like to see the likes of Ellen White and Beth score. It was enjoyable though.
