President Joe Biden emerged from five full days of isolation on Wednesday after testing positive for Covid-19, and he used the occasion to promote the vaccines and drugs he said kept him from being "severely ill" like former President Donald Trump.

Biden credited his mild case to two initial vaccine doses, two booster shots and a regimen of taking Pfizer antiviral pill Paxlovid.

According to the White House, Biden had a sore throat, a cough, a body ache, and a slight fever after he was isolated.

The president said vaccinations made a difference in keeping him from getting the same disease as Trump.

Biden said that his predecessor had to be helicoptered to Walter Reed Medical Center. You could live without fear by getting tested and treated.
