Two teenage girls who bashed a white woman in the head while shouting that they hate white people were charged with hate crimes.
The girls, ages 15 and 16, along with another girl who is still being sought, confronted the 57-year-old woman on the Q52 bus in Woodhaven.
The girls hit the woman in the head with a blunt object.
The victim said that she hated white people because of the way they talked.
A woman was bleeding from the head after the teens hopped off the bus.
She was taken to the hospital with a head wound.
Two of the girls were taken into custody by police. They were charged with assault and harassment as hate crimes.
Police did not name them due to their age.
The detectives are trying to locate the third person.
