I adopted a kitten with an internet following, and the following wanted to know how the kitten was doing, even though I didn't want to join social media. I would update once a week. But then the social network changed.

There were two big events in the year. The feed was changed first. It is a type of mathematical computation. All right. The story is an imitation of the ephemeral messaging service. Whatever it was. I was okay with it. I stopped posting photos in favor of posting stories because more people were looking at them. I stopped watching ads that werecluttering the stories. I stopped posting photos and stories frequently.

Come now the Kardashians, who have said that the new Instagram sucks

I avoided both the ham-fisted video stuff and the TikTok imitation reels. This is where the feed hurt people. Some people on social media talked about how to please the algorithm with a certain number of stories and reels. People wouldn't see your posts if you didn't do what you were told to do. I could choose not to base my business on this platform. I preferred text to video so I reduced my use of social media.

There is something that makes the feed worse. There are a lot of videos from people you don't follow. That is where we are now with social media. The people who I want to follow the most are getting left out of the rankings.

The newinstagram sucks according to theKardashians The platform wooed these women to use it and built itself around them. Adam Mosseri, the platform's head, said that they are an important part of the platform.

It’s funny to see Instagram Facebookify because no one wants to use Facebook either

Mosseri said that the new feed was bad and that it wasn't going to get better. Photos are no longer a priority for the social media platform.

According to Mosseri, users of the photo sharing service are moving to video. That could be true. I stopped using the platform as a result of not wanting to switch to video. People who use the photo sharing site to make money were forced to post more videos to stay in peoples feeds. Doesn't seem very natural to me.

People don't want to use Facebook either so it's funny to see it. After we automated our social process, I quit again. People talk about Facebook in a way that makes it seem like it is dragging.

The platform changes are bad for businesses because they have to rejigger everything yet again to try to please the algorithm and bad for businesses because they are bad for people because they are bad for people. I will watch a TikTok if I so desire. I went to take the cat pictures.

Facebook is in a difficult situation. It has to figure out how to keep the lights on while it builds the metaverse since it doesn't exist. The metaverse has a killer app. The privacy push by Apple has cost the company $10 billion.

Mosseri is letting us all know that the changes don't matter to Facebook. It is trying to squeeze as many growth-hacky engagement out of its legacy platforms as possible. High-quality photos are more important than scammy ads for weight loss, speed, and the like. It was quite a way to go from that first ad. It seems like there's a change in the way that social media is used.

I have stopped using various social media sites before. I'm aware of this feeling. No one will like you when you are desperate. Where will I go is the most important question. I don't like notifications and Be Real is more fun. It isn't meant to be used for photos of cats. Is it possible for someone to build a simple photo app that isn't sleazy and let me know where it is so that I can join it? I want people to look at my photos of cats.
