England scored two goals in the first and two in the second as they defeated Sweden and advanced to the Euro final. There is a delay of over two minutes.

It doesn't matter how you do it, you want to win. The goal will speak for itself even if it is a tap-in.

The Lionesses' goal against Sweden in the Euro 22 semifinals was a textbook example of another level, as it came out of the Lionel Messi or theRonaldo textbook.

The result was big for the host nation. It ended a run of three successive defeats in major tournament semifinals, putting the English women within one win of their first major trophy.

While this tournament has given the women's game a boost across Europe, and solidified the England team into the country's congested sporting landscape, there are moments of magic that go beyond the sport itself.

The public's imagination was captured by Georgia Stanway's long-range shot that sealed a 2-1 win against Spain in the quarterfinals of the European Championship.

It was so unexpected and audacious that Russo's goal in Tuesday's semifinals was different.

She had initially seen a shot blocked by the Sweden goalkeeper, but she collected the rebound and appeared to be taking the ball away from goal.

She produced the moment of the tournament by not only sending the ball into the net, but she also put it through Lindahl's legs at the same time.

Kids in playground and playing fields will wake up tomorrow morning and try to duplicate Russo's goal, just as they would have done if it was scored by a male football player.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof were both at the stadium to watch their countries, and you can bet that the goal will be talked about in the morning.

The Euro 22 tournament has been dominated by England due to the fact that it is all about discovering new stars. The value of the game cannot be overstated because of the airtime that will be claimed by Russo's moment.

If the team can't win at Wembley on Sunday, it won't mean much.

France vs. Germany will be shown live on Wednesday. The time has not yet been determined.

The English Football Association's determination to go that extra step and win something was one of the reasons why they appointed the Dutchwoman as their coach in 2021.

She has 18 wins and 2 draws in 20 games. It's a golden chance for England to win a major honour at Wembley on Sunday.

England are a really good team. The first half hour of the game was dominated by Sweden, but they were overwhelmed in the second half.

In the first 20 seconds, England keeper Mary Earps had to make two saves, the first of which was against Sweden. England gained a foothold thanks to the determination of Fran Kirby in the middle of the field, and the calm composure of captainLeah Williamson.

The tournament's top scorer, Beth Mead, opened the scoring on 34 minutes when she turned and shot into the net after receiving Lucy Bronze's cross. Three minutes into the second half, Bronze headed in England's second after Mead crossed for him.

England poured forward in waves after Sweden looked drained of energy andbelief. Earps saved a Stina Blackstenius headed ball on 65 minutes. The final stages could have been tense for England if Earps had made that save, but he did and the game was over.

England booked their place in the final with a ruthless display of finishing after Kirby made it four with a 20 yard strike on 77 minutes.

90 minutes at Wembley is all that's left. If England face either Germany or France, they will be beaten.
