According to a new report, the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic won't be ready for a long time.

The art director and design director of the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic have been fired, according to a report. According to the report, the developers were happy with the vertical slice of the game that was shown to Lucasfilm and Sony.

The vertical slice of the game was not where leadership wanted it to be, so it was being paused indefinitely. The report states that the game was supposed to be done by the end of 2022, but that's no longer the case.

Some developers on the game think it may be given to Saber Interactive. A gaming and media holding company called Embracer Group owns dozens of other studios and multiple publishing labels.
