A chaotic battle in MultiVersus.

In the Americas, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand, Warner Bros. Games has launched a free-to-play fighting game called MultiVersus. The game can be played on PS4 and PS5 as well as on other platforms.

I haven't been able to get past the title screen yet, but there have been issues since the opening of the open alpha. The developers promised that the game would be back online soon.

If you want to rack up damage on your opponents and hit them off-screen, you need to play MultiVersus. Free-for-all matches and two-on-two team battles can be played by up to four players. The fights in Super Smash Bros. should feel familiar to you if you have played the game. In this trailer, you can see how it all works.

The chance to pit characters from different fictional worlds against each other is part of the fun of Multi Versus. Is there a winner in the fight between Batman, Bugs Bunny, and others? Is there a person named King James? You can settle that score with Multi Versus. WB Games will be adding new characters in the months ahead, and you can check out the full roster here. There are two confirmed additions to the show.

You can already buy gleamium, an in-game currency, to use on things like new characters and taunts. WB Games sells three levels of Founders Packs that include character tickets, gleamium, and other bonuses.

If you would like to check it out, you can download it for PS1, XBOX, and Steam. You may have to wait for the server to come back online before you can play the game.
