The right-back is not worried about becoming Lucy Bronze's replacement at the club, despite the fact that Manchester City have secured the signing of Dutch international Kerstin Casparij.

Bronze left for Barcelona at the end of her contract this summer and was replaced by Casparij, who signed a three-year contract with the squad.

She was part of the Netherlands squad that got to the quarter-finals of the Women's European Championship and will join up with her new club next week.

She said that she and gareth were on the same page when it came to their style of play. Next year I'll be playing for Manchester City.

I was at the club for the medical. The people are nice. I will be calling it home for the next couple of years.

Bronze was the first English player to win the Best Women's Player of the Year award when she played for the Women's Super League club.

The 21-year-old doesn't feel any pressure to live up to Bronze's expectations.

It's an honor that they want to sign me to take over from Lucy. She is a Manchester City legend as well.

It's a big job but I don't feel any pressure. I feel confident in my ability to do her justice.
