The price of Amazon Prime is going up in several European countries.
In the UK, the monthly Prime subscription will increase from 7 to 8 and the yearly Prime subscription will increase from 7 to 9.

In Germany, the price hike is 30 percent, while in France it is 43 percent.
In a message to customers, Amazon said that the new pricing would apply to renewals in September.
The price hikes are due to increased inflation and operating costs according to Amazon.
Amazon said they will keep working to make sure Prime offers exceptional value.
The prices for Amazon Prime in the U.S. were raised a few months ago.
