Shaquille O'Neal's Son, Shareef, Signs 6-Figure Deal With G League Ignite

Shareef O'Neal signed a 6-figure contract with the G League and is still working towards his dream of playing in the NBA.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Shareef will play for a Nevada-based team.

Sharing how excited he was about the opportunity, Shareef wrote, "Vegas let's do it!" Thank you so much!

The young basketball player is getting another chance at improving his game after teaming up with the Los Angeles Lakers' Summer League team.

When Shareef got playing time, he averaged 4.5 points per game and was efficient when he touched the rock.

Shareef has a lot of people rooting for him, like the former Lakers head coach who believes he can play in the NBA if he cleans up his game.

"I think he looked a little bit out of place," Scott said of O' Neal. He wasn't prepared. He has a long way to go. The talent is there. It's obvious that the talent is there.
