People wanted to own your phone and laptop. Dell is throwing in the towel.

The program that syncs your phone's texts, calls, and notifications to your computer is no longer available. Users in the US, Canada, and Japan will no longer be able to download Dell products from January 31, 2023. Downloads will stop on July 31st and the service will be shut down on November 30th for users outside of these three countries.

The Dell Mobile Connect is supposed to work best with Dell laptops from the year 2018? Screen-mirroring, which was added to the Mobile Connect app for the iPhone in 2020, is one of the new features that came out of the program.

The Phone Link feature is available on Windows 10 and 11 PCs. It's possible to mirror notifications on your PC, take calls and texts, and transfer files with the help of Phone Link. The main difference is that Phone Link doesn't support Apple's phones.

Mobile connect's capabilities aren't going away for good The software behind Dell Mobile Connect was purchased by Intel. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year, Intel showed off its plans to sync your PC with your phones and watches, and the capability will be available on Intel devices by the end of the year.
