A $450-per-child one-time relief check will be sent to almost 60,000 Florida families.

A number of states are giving residents different amounts of money in the form ofStimulus checks. Over a year has passed since the federal government last gave Americans a check.

The Biden administration doesn't seem to have any plans for future payments as of July 2021.

Here is a list of the states that have their own checks.

California

The governor signed a $17 billion inflation relief package last month that included financial aid for rent and utility bills.

More than half of the state's residents will receive direct payments of up to $1,050, based on a three-tiered eligibility system, and tax filers with at least one dependent will also receive an additional amount of $350, $250, or $200.

The single tax filers will get something.

  • $350 if they earn less than $75,000 per year
  • $250 if they earn between $75,001 and $125,000 per year
  • $200 if they earn between $125,001 and $250,000 per year

There are joint tax filers.

  • $700 if they earn less than $150,000 per year
  • $500 if they earn between $150,001 and $250,000 per year
  • $400 if they earn between $250,001 and $500,000 per year

Colorado

The state of Colorado will send a reimbursement of $750 for single tax filers and $1,500 for joint tax payers.

The governor told residents to file their taxes by June 30 to get the direct payment or to wait until October 17 to get the rebate.

Delaware

The state sent a one-time direct payment of $300 per adult or $600 for joint tax filers in Delaware. Payments were issued in May of this year and will be made throughout the summer to residents who filed tax returns

Florida

The Florida Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program will send $450 per child to eligible recipients, including foster parents, relative and non-relative caregivers, and families that receive funds from the program.

The Department of Children and Families expects 59,000 families to get payments.

Georgia

Georgia's Department of Revenue announced in May that it would begin issuing one-time tax refunds to residents, amounting to $250 for single filers, $500 for joint filers, and $375 for head of household filers.

Hawaii

Individual taxpayers who earn less than $100,000 a year or joint filers who earn less than $200,000 will get a $300 tax refund, while single taxpayers who earn more than $100,000 will get a $100 tax refund.

The refunds will be issued in the last week of August according to the department.

Idaho

The governor approved a tax break for full-year residents. The residents will receive either $75 per taxpayer or 12% of their income tax amount.

Illinois

Relief by temporarily suspending grocery, gas, and property taxes was provided by the state's Family Relief Plan.

Individual tax filers who earned less than $200,000 in 2021 will receive a $50 tax rebate. The tax filers will get $100 for each dependent.

Indiana

Residents will get a $125 tax refund after they file their taxes in 2021, according to the governor. To be eligible, taxpayers must have filed their tax return by April 18 of the following year.

The plan to distribute a second round of relief checks from the government budget surplus has yet to be approved by the state Legislature.

Maine

More than 850,000 Maine residents are receiving direct relief checks. Head of household filers earning less than $150,000, and joint filers making less than $200,000 are eligible for recipients.

Massachusetts

More than 300,000 low-income essential workers received a second round ofStimulus payments after the first one in February.

Workers who make at least $13,500 and see their total income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level are eligible.

Another set of one-time direct payments of $250 was proposed by state lawmakers.

New Jersey

The Middle Class Tax Rebate program will give a check of up to $500 to over one million families. The state government will start sending checks in July and take about six weeks to process them.

New Mexico

Multiple payments for New Mexico residents were approved by the governor. Depending on income, an eligible single taxpayer may receive a $250 payment if they make less than $75,000 and $500 if they make more than $150,000, which will be issued in July.

The second income tax rebate of $500 for single filers and $1,000 for joint filers will be automatically sent to taxpayers. Two payments will be made in June and August.

New York

2.5 million New York homeowners will get a direct property tax credit in the next few years. Most of the payments were made in June.

Oregon

The $600 one-time payment will be given to more than 230,000 low-income residents in Oregon. Payments were made in late June.

Pennsylvania

Pennsylvania's property tax and rent rebate program is similar to New York's.

A payment will be made to Pennsylvania homeowners.

  • $650 if they earn less than $8,000
  • $500 if they earn between $8,001 to $15,000
  • $300 if they earn between $15,001 to $18,000
  • $250 if they earn between $18,001 to $35,000

The state's renters will receive.

  • $650 if they earn less than $8,000
  • $500 if they earn between $8,001 and $15,000

The state has pending legislation that would give households with an income of $80,000 and under a one-time payment of $2,000. Republicans in the state objected to the plan.

South Carolina

Legislation was approved by the South Carolina Legislature to give a $1 billion tax cut to residents. About half of the people who paid state income taxes will get a rebate.

Virginia

According to the Virginia Department of Taxation, a one-time $250 tax rebate to single tax filers could be issued in late September. The residents will get their payment by the end of October.
