Fast-food chain founder buys 50,000 Mega Millions tickets - one for every employee

If luck is on their side, Raising Cane's employees may get a bonus soon.

Todd Graves, the founder of the fast-food restaurant chain, bought 50,000 Mega Millions tickets for each of his employees. The prize will be given to all 50,000 employees if any of the tickets win.

As of July 25, the Mega Millions prize was $810 million, making it the fourth largest prize in the game's history. The cash option was estimated to be $470.1 million before taxes.

Graves said that they couldn't pass up the chance to win the Mega Millions prize and share it with their crew. If we are lucky, we will surprise our crew with a surprise on Wednesday morning, which is why we are always looking for ways to bring them a little extra fun.

Raising Cane's employees would take home about $9,400 if the company won and chose the cash option.
