As it tries to make its tablets work better on larger screens, the company is rolling out some much-needed updates to its apps. Over the next few weeks, there will be updates for Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Keep.

You can drag and drop elements from one app to another in docs, sheets, and drive. The ability to open two files side by side is what Apple brought to the iPad. The keyboard will be more efficient to use for anyone with a wired or wireless keyboard attached to their device.

Over the past year, there has been renewed interest in the tablets that are based on the Linux operating system. The update to the operating system was released early in 2022. At its I/O developer conference in May, the company said it was working to improve the appecosystem forANDROID tablets. It said it was working with third-party developers to improve the look and feel of its own apps and that it would be releasing updates for over 20 of it's own apps.

There are a number of different theories as to why the area of development for the mobile operating system is now being paid more attention to than in the past. First of all is the fact that next year will see a return to the Android market for the first time in a long time with the release of a new device by the company. When it is released, the chances of this tablet will increase because of the investment in its appecosystem. The software on other tablets will improve as a result.

In order to get the most from the increased screen real estate, foldables rely on having software that is compatible with large screen devices. They are still a niche device, but interest is growing. Last year, the industry shipped 10 million foldable devices, a 300 percent increase over the previous year. There have been rumors about a foldable device being developed by the company.

Even if the bigger plans don't pan out, the more practical improvements in the here and now will be appreciated by the owners of the tablets.
