Last week, the company introduced Feeds on mobile, which allows users to view their Facebook content chronologically.

You can switch to Feeds and see things as they happen instead of having Facebook feed you a salad of things it thinks you should look at.

You may have been disappointed if you have been eager to switch to Feeds. Feeds content was often horrible, with completely irrelevant stuff showing up, including ad-like content from Pages I've followed ages ago and forgotten about, and meme from novelty Pages that ceased to be cool.

Facebook Feeds

I think it's because I've been treating Facebook's "like" button as a "save for later" button over the years. Feeds is a lot more complicated for me than Facebook's Home feed.

There is something you can do to stop this. It's an ideal opportunity to reduce the number of Pages you like, but don't really care about anymore. There is a site that sells Pilates equipment. The gelateria is in a small Italian town. The local grocery market has become a conspiracy theory site. It might be time for all of those to leave.

Things will get better if you trim the stuff you no longer care about. You should start seeing posts from people and businesses that are relevant to you on Facebook in the end.

You can increase the number of your favourite books. You can see only posts from the Friends and Pages you have set as favorites. To add Pages and Friends to Favourites, you have to navigate to Menu, Privacy, News Feed, and then search for Pages and Friends. Feeds -Favourites - ManageFavourites can be tapped on to add more pages and friends.

This feature is not as useful as it could be because Facebook limits the number ofFavourites to 30.

It takes a lot of work to get a better experience from Feeds. If you're only interested in mindless scrolling, then it's fine to let Facebook choose what you see. Feeds will win out if you want timely content from the Pages, Friends, and Groups you follow. If only Facebook would allow us to create lists of Pages and Friends that are related to each other.
